It's been an interesting couple of weeks. I have Grotto Part 2 all laid out and ready to be penciled. It's going to be amazing! I know the first one was kinda short and abrupt, so Andrew and I are giving y'all twenty six pages of arguing, running and a killer fight scene at the end. And don't forget Delia....
There is some new content on the right side bar:
Pestilioplast is a comic I created for IV, which is a four horseman anthology I did with some uber-talented comic artists: Carl Thompson, Andrew Herbst and Tom Ryan. We have the whole thing loaded up at one of those print by demand sites, so maybe I'll bring a couple to the minnesota spring con. Below is an image of the cover, done by Charles Price.
Also, a little Bzzzz Bzz movie. Kit May, a good friend and collaborator, cut and edited and added audio to one of my older comics. It moves my heart strings. Good times. Check it out!
On a media note, I recently secured ashbyutting.com and will develop the site over the next few months. One of my goals is to create a potent web comics viewer. So, I apologize for the inconvenient semi-functionality of Grotto and Pestilioplast as of late.
And, here are a couple more images for you to feast your eyes on! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-
I like doing various versions of the same thing. Adobe Suite, I love you....
Okay, I got to work on Grotto now. But soon I'll post some images and blurbs about a comic I'm working on, written by Jeremy Zoss, editor and contributor of joystickdivision.com. Also, I am delving into the obscure world(at least by American standards) of Manhwa, the comics of South Korea. More to come about that. Oh yeah, I'm going to C2E2 in march and Kim Deitch yelled at me.
